Our love story began in an unexpected way—through TikTok. One of Brandon’s motivational videos appeared on my “For You” page, and something about his words drew me in. I followed him, he followed me back, and soon after he asked for my number. Our very first phone call lasted six hours, filled with honesty and depth that neither of us had experienced before. That conversation sparked the beginning of our long-distance relationship, which led to visits back and forth until Brandon made the move to Wisconsin so we could build our future together. But what makes our story truly beautiful is not just how we met, but how God met us. We didn’t start our relationship with Him at the center. Still, in His goodness, He met us where we were and began to work in each of our lives. I was able to introduce Brandon to Jesus and plant the seed, but it was God who transformed our hearts. Through that transformation, He prepared us not only to love one another, but to sharpen each other and walk into marriage with Him as our foundation. It’s a daily battle of denying our flesh, carrying our cross, and following Christ. We don’t complete each other, but we know that as we pursue our own individual relationships with Jesus, we are able to glorify Him together in our marriage. We know without a doubt that our relationship is a testimony of God’s faithfulness. He brought us together, shaped us individually, and is now uniting us so we can glorify Him as one.
