To be fair, Leiria doesn't have many interesting spots that we think you should dedicate a lot of time with. However, if you travelled all this way and would like to explore the surroundings, here are some of our suggestions.
Nazaré

Nazaré holds the Guinness World Record for the place with the largest waves ever surfed. Although you won't catch these big boys in July (this is more of a winter activity), you can still enjoy the nice city and the beach.
Marinha Grande

If you're looking for a nice drive along side the sea, this is a nice spot to drop by starting from São Pedro de Moel all the way up to Figueira da Foz.
