I have found the one whom my soul loves - Song of Solomon 3:4

Mark and I met over 10 years ago through mutual friends. My city always has an annual fair in June where you can spend your early summer days at. It just so happened that Mark and I would cross paths right at this moment. I had saw a familar face across a crowd of people and I quickly shouted “MARK”. His attention was caught instantly, and we began to chat. At the end, we exchanged silly bands (so 2009, lol), and the rest would be history. Years had passed by until we would speak with eachother again. It was August 2015, and we had reconnected through social media. We both did not think much of it, until we went on our first date to a Tigers game. I remember telling myself not to get my hopes up because Mark was leaving for school very soon. However, by the end of that night, I knew I had found the one whom my soul loves. Mark and I both became very busy with school. He was pursueing his career in optometry and I was just starting off in nursing school. We spent that first year just talking to each other, praying for each other, and supporting each other. Finally, August 18, 2016 Mark asked me to be his girlfriend! We spent the next two years dating long distance and growing with eachother from afar. When Mark finally moved back home, I still had a year left of school. He has always been and continues to be my biggest supporter through all of lifes journeys. Life began to settle down as we both entered our careers, and our 3 year annivary was approaching. On August 18, 2019, we had spent that morning going to Mother of God church, and quickly after I was told I had to change and was blindfolded to a near by gazebo. Mark took my hand and lead the way, I heard my favorite song “Yours” by Russell Dickerson playing in the background. Mark took my blindfolds off and we were surrounded by all of our loved ones. He got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever.
