Yes! We will be live-streaming the ceremony through the Cathedral's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@richmondgreekorthodoxcathe7254/featured
We will begin the ceremony promptly at 3:00pm, so please arrive by 2:50pm.
The event is formal. The wedding party will be in tuxedos with ties and long gowns. Guests are encouraged to wear formal suits and dresses.
Guests given a plus-one are noted on their invitations.
We have a room block at the Omni (see the Travel page for the information). However, there are plenty of beautiful hotels around the Omni if you prefer a different hotel.
There is a parking lot and open street parking at the Cathedral. Paid parking is available at the Omni’s garage or through valet service (please go to the Travel tab for more detailed information). There is also limited street parking nearby, but please be sure to check Richmond’s parking signs carefully if you choose to park on the street.
We love all our friends' and families' little ones, but to help us plan accordingly, we’re keeping the guest list limited. If your children are invited to the ceremony and reception, their names will be listed on your invitation.
OF COURSE! In between the band's sets, we will still be on the dance floor! All are welcome to join! If you're new to Greek dancing, the kalamatiano is the most common dance. Steps can be learned from this YouTube video if you want a preview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryWGbu7Ubr8
