The BeeBoos say I do!

A rainy afternoon in March 2016, Jordan struggled to close his umbrella while entering the café. Mariajosé was already nervously ordering her favorite Tierra Mia drink when she turned around & saw him for the first time. In unison, they sat on the cold leather couch as they sighed out a calm & shakey "Hi.." which instantly turned to giggles. It wasn't long before the barista walked over & asked them kindly to leave as the cafe had already closed - had it been that long already?! Their first date had just begun, the night was young! They shared an umbrella, walked over to Urban Putt for some mini golfing, getting-to-know-you questions, & some drinks at the bar. The time was flying by, but they already felt as if they'd known each other for years. Their stomachs growled, so they ran to the closest taqueria, only to find it super packed! They took their umbrellas, walked through the Mission towards the car, & drove down to In-N-Out burger in Daly City. This date quickly became a three-part series! Luckily they found a table, enjoyed double-doubles, cheese fries & continued chatting the night away. Not wanting the night to end, Jordan got tickets to a late movie to end the night. They were smitten with each other; they hadn't noticed they walked into the wrong auditorium at the theater! Cloverfield wasn't exactly the most memorable movie but what they'll never forget is the confusion & laughter they shared as the movie ended in 25 mins! Hand in hand, they danced to the parking lot to the tune of their phone alarm & “Thinking out Loud.” What was their long first date became the beginning of their greatest adventure. After five years, including a breakup that led to rekindling their true friendship, a global pandemic, & countless facetime hours, their fairytale officially took flight September 2021 when Jordan pulled off a surprise engagement to pop the question! She said yes! Here we are ready to continue writing our magical romance to infinity and beyond!
