Boat Day

The Boat will be leaving out of the main port in Sorrento at 11 am. Wine and beer will be provided aboard the boat. We will be sailing all around the Amalfi Coast for the day, with plenty of opportunities to stop and swim, so please plan on wearing/bringing a swimsuit. We will also be docking in Positano for a couple hours, where you can grab lunch and explore on your own before returning to the boat.

The Rehearsal dinner is by invitation only, but everyone is welcome to join us after for drinks. There will be an open mic if anyone wishes to share a story or words of wisdom for the Bride and Groom.

Wedding Ceremony

Formal Attire- Black Tie Optional
The wedding day will take place in Positano. Guest are responsible for getting to Positano, however transportation will be provided back to Sorrento at the end of the evening. The most scenic route to get from Sorrento to Positano is by Ferry. The Ferry costs a couple euros and runs every hour. I highly suggest arriving in Positano early to have a drink/light bite to eat before heading to Marincanto for the ceremony. The terrace where the ceremony will be is one of the most breathtaking views in all of the Amalfi Coast, but with that comes a long walk uphill. If you arrive in Positano by boat you will need to walk up hill for about 15 minutes, so please plan accordingly. We will have our planner waiting near the dock to help those who arrived by the ferry make their way up to the terrace. The other option is arriving by taxi which will take you right to the hotel. After the ceremony guests will get to experience the famous Positano "golden hour" while enjoying cocktails on the terrace.

Following the ceremony & aperitivo guests will make their way down a private path from Marincanto to Rada where the reception will be. Although the view is unparalleled, be prepared to kick off your heels since the walk over is approximately 200 steps downhill. The phrase beauty is pain definitely holds true for a place like Positano. Once arriving at Rada, please join us for cocktails & antipasti before finding your seat for dinner. Transportation will be provided back to Sorrento at the end of the evening, departing at two different times to accommodate guests needs. Italians like to do weddings a little differently, and we plan on making our day as authentic as possible. So although it might be less traditional than you are use to, we assure you that it will be an experience of a lifetime and a night you will never forget! We truly can't begin to express how grateful we are for those of you who took the time out of your lives to be with us on our special day. Now lets party!
