Isn’t it such a small world?? Long story short, Tab and I should have met a million times throughout our lives, but where did we meet? Online! The typical online not-so-romantic story of “oh he’s/she’s cute, let’s chat!” to finding out I’ve known his family my whole life and he’s known mine for about the same but we had NEVER MET!! After talking to some of his family, I finally agreed to let him take me on a date. Where was our first date?? If you guessed a romantic dinner and stroll around a park... I’m sorry but you guessed wrong, it was drinking and dancing at Matt’s of course! He called me the next day saying to be ready in 10min because he was on his way to take me to lunch, we spent every weekend together since! And of course you guys all know the rest ❤️

Flashback- 2 years ago. Setting- Pregnant, emotional, crying Mariah, standing at the truck at Cowpunchers rodeo. Tab- "I know you have not wanted me to say it while i've been drinking, but I don't care anymore. I love you Mariah, so please stop crying and let's have some fun" Flashforward- 2 years later. Setting- Tab and I parked in the same exact spot, anxiously putting my earings in for a night out just the two of us. Tab- "I guess it would be nice for me to be a gentleman and come open your door" Me- "oh yeah it would! Let me just finish putting on my jewelry!" Tab- *gets out of the truck, but loiters* "okay take your time, I have to pee anyways." (turns out he was just stalling because people were passing by) He comes around to my door, tries to open it but it was locked lol We laugh, he opens the door, gets down on his knee and asks me to be his wife! I threw my earrings, and did NOT believe him. Asking "Are you serious?? Is this real??" on repeat until he pulled out my mom's ring and said "Not yet, you have to give me an answer first" Cue tears and excited YES!! Long story short, he proposed in the same exact spot he told me he first loved me, and it was better than I could ever dream of.
