Question

Will everyone be vaccinated against COVID 19?

Answer

All guests must be vaccinated

Question

What should I call the person-getting-married-who-isn't-Stephen?

Answer

Whatever you know them as! Mariah? Jack? Some weird nickname that you just made up? Please use the name and pronouns you've been using the whole time--it might not match the name other folks are using, but we all know who you're talking about :)

Question

How accessible is the venue?

Answer

The whole museum is wheelchair accessible, but requiring staff assistance at certain points. CRMII's website has detailed information, but the short of the matter is: if you're looking to enter the venue for the reception and not leave/require assistance, we recommend driving around the building and entering via the ramp located there, which will give you access to the main function room and the Watch Gallery. Parking is not available at that location, so please let us know if you need transportation from the ceremony to that entrance and we'll make it happen! https://www.charlesrivermuseum.org/accessibility

Question

What's up with the ribbons?

Answer

Since we're already married, we won't be exchanging rings at this ceremony. We will be doing a handfasting, which is a ritual inspired by a medieval tradition. Our family and friends are an important part of our lives, and by having you write your names and a message/blessing on what will become the cord used in the ritual, you are all taking part in this union. Even if you can't come to the ceremony, please send the ribbon in so that we can have you be a part of this. And please--try not to write within an inch of each side.
