Weren't you getting married at the FIA? Why did you change venues?

Answer

Yeah, getting married at the FIA was our plan until COVID happened! As of August 2020, the FIA can only have weddings of up to 10 people indoors. We opted to move our event to the Flint Farmers' Market terrace so we could invite more friends and family, although we did still have to cut our guest list down about 30%.

What is the parking situation for the wedding?

Answer

There is a large parking lot in front of the market. If you cannot find a spot there, park at the UM-Flint lot across the street - parking is free and open to anyone on the weekends in that lot.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code range is between cocktail to black tie. We love to dress up and if you do too, go for it!

How did you two meet?

Answer

We met through mutual friends at an event at The Whiting called Whiting After Dark in 2015.

How long have you been dating?

Answer

We've been together since January 1, 2016.

Who said "I love you" first?

Answer

Shane did! It was on Valentine's Day in 2016, about six weeks after they began dating.
