Like so many others, We met the old fashion way… on the internet. Before we met we were very jaded when it came to love (which I’m sure most of you reading this can attest to.) From the very beginning we found so much joy, laughter and love in the presence of one another. I fell in love with Marco’s booming voice and kind eyes. He is so handsome and sweet but also kind of a weirdo… he was everything I could have asked for and more! We felt peace by each others’ sides. But there was one problem, we lived about an hour and half apart. And that drive home after the weekend together got more brutal every week. So, We decided we wanted to live together.. which was a little complicated since together we had 5 dogs and a cat, and in Plumas County, there was no way we would find a place to rent. So we took the next step and started looking or a house. Well, the first house we looked at we knew it was our future, it was perfect for us! After a long and brutal process the house was finally ours! We moved in and found we love living together! It was so nice just to come home to our person and our animals. We felt relief and happiness. Well a couple months later, after we spent the entire day getting groceries in town, we finally got home and Marco started putting up the outdoor lights we had just bought, which felt like a tomorrow chore to me, but he was already in the thick on if. Well finally, at 9:30 pm while I was getting ready for bed, Marco comes in the house and asks “do you want to see what I did? Sure!! I say in excitement. So I go outside in my pajamas and say wow the lights look so good! And he says “do you see that weird thing right there? No over there” “No?? I don’t-“ I turn around and he is on one knee with a ring in his hand. He said “there’s been something I’ve even meaning to ask you for a long time, I can’t believe I found the person I’ve been searching for, will you marry me? I said “absolutely” Now we’re here, Getting Married! We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by our favorite people!
