We’re getting married!

Like most modern love stories Kasey and Mariah met on an online dating site. They matched on Bumble on June 25th, 2023 and chatted into the early hours of the morning. After three days of chatting on the app, Kasey boldly asked Mariah for her phone number. On July 5th, 2023 Kasey and Mariah went on their first date. Kasey traveled to Norfolk, Ne to meet Mariah for the first time. They had dinner at one of Mariah's favorite spots, District Table&Tap. They chatted about their favorite movies, hobbies, and their shared love for sour beers. On July 7th, 2023 Mariah traveled to Kasey's hometown of Homer, Ne. Kasey cooked a meal at his home, he was bound and determined to convince Mariah that steak is indeed good. They had dinner and watched movies together. Surprisingly after that they didn't talk for 6 months. Kasey and Mariah reconnected after Mariah nervously sent a text to Kasey. Kasey replied with, "I'm sorry, but who is this?". They laugh about his response now. After exchanging many text messages they then spent New Year's Eve together watching movies and eating spaghetti. After that Mariah visited Kasey nearly every weekend. On March 29th, 2024 after attending a Sioux City Muskateers hockey game Kasey asked Mariah to be his girlfriend. Fun fact, Mariah actually got hit in the forehead by a hockey puck at the game.They spent any free time they had with each other. On July 13, 2024 Mariah officially made the move to Homer, Ne to live with Kasey. They quickly adjusted to living together and their love grew more and more everyday. In September 2025, Mariah took Kasey on a vacation to Mexico. They spent time by the pool with cold beverages, enjoyed the sun, swam with sharks, and went zip lining. Little did Mariah know that the biggest adventure was yet to come. Kasey had the surprise of a lifetime when he proposed to Mariah on September 3rd, 2025. Their love for each other continues to grow everyday. They are so excited to celebrate their special day with their friends and family.
