Mariah and Isaac met in February of 2018, where every great love story begins, a swiped right on Tinder. Isaac's first (thoughtful) message, "your eyes are cool," really pulled Mariah in and sparked a conversation that led to a memorable first date. After weeks of sending messages upon messages back and forth and talking about everything imaginable, Mariah invited Isaac to her house in Muncie, where there would be a big party later that night. Before the party started, they went to dinner and Mariah (as Isaac says) took him to a fish fry. Mariah doesn’t even like fish, so they were off to a great start. This was the perfect icebreaker into the night where Isaac would meet every single one of Mariah's friends. Seeing Isaac effortlessly connect with those most important to her, Mariah knew he was someone special. Little did they know that night would be the beginning of something so amazing! Fast forward six years, and they're ready to start their forever journey, grateful to have found love and friendship in each other.

When Isaac graduated from IUPUI, we celebrated the milestone with our closest friends and family. About half way through the party, Isaac surprised Mariah by inviting her to join him for a speech. As he spoke, his words gradually shifted towards her, expressing gratitude for the support she has always shown. To her shock, he knelt down on one knee, and after a moment of surprise, she happily said "YES!" (with a Corona in hand that would make an appearance in every. single. photo.) and cheers from everyone around. Sharing this special moment with our loved ones made it even more magical, and we're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with all of you.
