When Life Gives You Clemons

In 2012, we both happened to be roaming the wilds of Twitter, where we crossed paths amid a flurry of hashtags and funny memes. We started with the basics: replying to each other’s posts and debating whether pineapple belongs on pizza. ( We were debating, but not about pizza). Our conversations quickly evolved into long, enthusiastic threads about everything from our favorite TV shows to why socks mysteriously disappear in the laundry. Little did we know, this was the beginning of something pretty incredible. As our direct messages grew longer and our conversations more frequent, we realized we were on the same wavelength. Our Twitter banter turned into real-life jokes, and our shared humor made everything—from day-to-day annoyances to late-night parenting—way more enjoyable. By 2015, our lives took on a new adventure with the arrival of our first amazing son, Roland. Then, in 2022, we welcomed another little one, Ryan, adding even more fun and chaos to our lives. Our house has never been quieter, but it’s certainly been filled with more love, laughter, and the occasional loud noise from toys. In 2019, surrounded by the warmth of our family and the memories of our journey, the question was finally popped. Our engagement was not just a promise of a future together but a tribute to the extraordinary path that brought us here. Now, we’re navigating life’s ups and downs with a full house, a lot of laughter, and a love that keeps growing. What started with a tweet has turned into our greatest adventure, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
