We met in a very modern era kind of way — virtually and unexpectedly. During an online class, Collin came across a photo of Mariah on LinkedIn and took a chance by finding and following her on Instagram. She followed back, and a few months later, Collin congratulated her on graduating law school. That message sparked a conversation that never really stopped. We quickly bonded over our shared experiences in law school and found ourselves talking about everything from legal theories to life goals. While Mariah was studying for the bar exam, we spent hours on facetime each evening, building a connection that grew stronger with every conversation. Mariah always says she thanks Collin for getting her through the bar exam. When we finally met each other in person, the connection was stronger than ever. In fact, the first evening we met we spent 5 hours across each from each other talking just as we did every night before that. By November 2021, we officially became a couple — and the rest is history. What started as a virtual connection has turned into the most meaningful adventure of our lives.
