Maid of Honor
Cousin of the bride. As cliche as it sounds, Tarah and I have talked about our weddings since we were little! (Mostly about how we’d have the best time together on the dance floor.) I always knew when the day was here that she would be my Maid of Honor. She has been the closest thing I've had to a sister and I can’t imagine having anybody else stand by my side. I love Tarah because she’s never too serious and she reminds me that I shouldn’t take everything too seriously either. That’s something that I will need to be reminded of on my special day!
Best Man
Brother of the groom. Andrew is a golf enthusiast and wedding dance off champion. (Those of you who don't know his dance skills are in for a treat!) Andrew and I have a long list of stories but one common theme throughout those is the way we have communicated and had each others backs. One trait that has always stood out to me is his positive energy. That energy has made me want to better myself each and every day. I am excited to have my little brother stand next to me on my big day!
Bridesmaid
Sister of the groom. I have always dreamed of what it would be like to have a sister and now I finally get one! I'm thrilled to be gaining a sister who appreciates wine and dessert as much as I do. She has been such a big help during the wedding planning process and I couldn’t be more grateful for that. Larissa is so caring and she truly wants to help someone out when ever she can. Her thoughtfulness is my favorite trait about her. I can’t wait to have her as my sister!
Groomsman
Brother-in-law of the groom. Mike is always the life of the party. You can find him with a large group of people huddled around him talking sports, performing voice impersonations or just having good conversation. Mike has always been someone who I can talk to and he has been a huge help throughout the wedding planning process. I was able to stand next to Mike on his special day and now he is able to stand next to me during mine.
Bridesmaid
College bestie. Rose and I became close friends during our time at Roosevelt University. We were introduced through a mutual friend and we immediately clicked. Unfortunately, we only see each other a few times a year but when ever we reunite we always pick up right where we left off. Rose is always up for an adventure whether it be in Chicago or traveling to another city and I absolutely love that about her! It means the world to me to have my best friend from college stand by my side.
Groomsman
College buddy. Andrew and I met through SigEp during our time at Miami University. After graduating, we both moved to Chicago where we were weekend roommates. (I often slept on his couch.) Andrew's day consists of blonde roast coffee, beating the stock market, gym gains and playing guitar. Thanks to Andrew, I met my future wife as he encouraged me to ask Mariah out on our first date.
Flower Girl
The bride's niece. Amera is the cutest 2 year old who has the biggest personality! She absolutely LOVES to dance. The second she hears any kind of music she instantly perks up and starts to move. (Once she starts moving she doesn't stop.) Amera will most likely steal the spotlight on the dance floor with all of her cuteness and hilarious dance moves.
Ring Bearer
The groom’s nephew and future Miami Grad. Owen is the cutest little boy with a big and loving personality. We are so excited to watch him grow up and become the sweetest little man. We can't wait for him to be a part of our special day!
Ring Bearer
Nate has been in my life for four years now! I started nannying him when I first moved to Columbus and he was only 4 months old. Now, he’s a 4 year old who goes to preschool. I’ve been lucky enough to watch him grow up and become the silliest, sweetest, and happiest little boy! You can find him at the wedding eating all of the fruit, cheese, and bread.
