What is the dress code for the wedding?
Answer
We are so excited to have our friends and family dress up with us! We would love to see everyone in formal attire! Ladies: floor or ankle length evening dresses. Bright spring colors are encouraged Gentlemen: A formal suit with a tie and dress shoes.

Answer
Cocktail attire Ladies: short cocktail dresses, midi length dresses, jumpsuits, two piece sets Gentlemen: suit, no tie, or slacks/chinos and a button down

Where should we stay?

We will have 2 blocks, one at the AC Hotel Pittsburgh Downtown, and one at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Pittsburgh Downtown. Please see travel page for details. Is there transportation to and from the wedding?
Answer
For those in our blocks, we have arranged for transportation to the ceremony, reception venue, and back to the hotels after the reception. Unfortunately, while you are welcome to book alternative accommodations, we will not be able to assist with transportation for those staying outside of our hotel block. Please note, there will be no transportation provided to the welcome party.

Is there onsite parking?
Answer
Ceremony: There is reserved parking at Heinz Chapel that is free of charge. It will be located on the left side of S. Bellefield Avenue between Forbes Avenue and Fifth Avenue. Reception: Complementary valet is available.

Are kids invited? Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
Our philosophy is typically, "the more the merrier!"; however, our wedding will be invitation only due to capacity constraints. Any invited guests will be listed by name on your invitation. While we love kids, we are unable to accommodate children outside of our wedding party. We understand this can be limiting to some guests, and we truly appreciate your understanding. We hope you are able to enjoy our celebration as a "night off" to relax and have fun!

Can I take photos?
Answer
Ceremony: We kindly request that our ceremony be unplugged. We want everyone to be in the moment with us as we recite our vows and commit our lives to each other. We have hired professional photographers to capture the day. Thank you for understanding. Reception: Photos are encouraged!

What is the weather like?
Answer
This is April in Pittsburgh - it could be 70 and sunny, 30 and snowing, or anything in between! Keep in mind that rain is always in the forecast (even when it's not!). We recommend checking the forecast the day before you leave, and always having a rain plan! Our venues are either indoors, or they have an indoor option in the event of inclement weather. For our welcome party, we will try and keep the rooftop venue if at all possible, so please plan to have a jacket on hand if needed!
