Ben and Mariah first met the middle of their Sophomore year of High School. They hung-out with the same group of people and were in multiple classes together. They started dating their Junior year on October 24th, 2010. Ben was always known as the athletic, buff mussel man in school but has the sweetest most caring soul. And as for Mariah she is the same way not big and buff like Ben but has the biggest, caring heart in the world. Mariah would support Ben every Friday night under the big lights on the Football field or would try and make it to every track meet Ben had during the Spring. In 2012 they both graduated Ocean City High School. Ben decided to join the Army and was sent off to boot camp for 5 months. No contact, no internet, no phones this is when their love grew strong.

July 1st, 2018 was just an average Sunday Funday on the Barr's Barge at Corson's Inlet. But little did Mariah know that this was the day Ben was going to pop the question. The boat "broke" down and Ben went to "fix it" and got down on one knee and asked Mariah to spend the rest of their lives together. Honestly no one can really tell this story, you have to watch the video and I'm sure it will have you in tears.
