Mérida International Airport (MID)

Merida is located in the heart of the Yucatan Peninsula. There are three ways to get to Merida: Direct Flights: - From Houston (United - 1 Flight a Day) - Mexico City (AeroMexico / Volaris / VivaAerobus) - Multiple Flights a day) Fly to Cancun + Transport: There are multiple flights from all over the USA flying into Cancun daily. There is the option to rent a car or take the bus (ADO). We recommend ADO GL or ADO Platinum. It takes about 3 hours to drive from Cancun to Merida. Connecting Flights: Best option if neither of the above work for you is to fly into Mexico City and take one of the multiple flights directly to Merida (AeroMexico / Volaris / VivaAerobus)

Transport in Merida

Uber and Taxis are very reliable and safe! You can also easily rent a car in Merida. If you plan on exploring cenotes and near by areas, this may be a great choice. It is also possible to arrange private transportation contact Jose Luis Lizama at +52 999 968 3922. Please note that Uber is not directly available from the airport. It will require a 5 minute walk to an Uber staging point. This can be found easily on Google Maps.

We will have buses pick guests up at 12:45pm. It is imperative to arrive on time, as if you miss the bus, you will need to order a taxi. The same buses will take guests to the reception and at the end of the night the original pickup spot. There will be buses leaving every hour beginning at midnight, with the last transport leaving at 2am. Once at the drop off location, there will be taxis available for those not staying at the hotel. The pick up and drop off locations are the Courtyard Marriot and the Fiesta Americana.
