What time does everything start?

Please try to arrive at Chicago Theater Works starting at 4:30 PM. The ceremony will start at 5 PM. And this will highly likely start on time (we are going to try).

Are the wedding and ceremony at the same location?

Answer

Yes! Both will be at Chicago Theater Works.

Question

Do I need to be vaccinated?

Answer

Yes. We have several guests who are high risk, and out of safety for everyone, we are asking to please be vaccinated at least two weeks before the wedding.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

At this time, please only bring yourself and any names on your Save the Date and Invite.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Your kids are super cute-we are pretty sure. However, this is an adult-only ceremony.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We are having a Welcome Event Friday evening at My Buddy’s. This is more for our out of town guests, and super causal as a come and go as you please. You aren’t required to go, but you are invited. Don’t feel bad if you can only do the wedding. That’s the most important part.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Look your best. The wedding colors are navy blue, sunflower yellow, and slate grey if you want somewhere to start, but you don’t have to wear those colors. Don’t wear white.

Best airport to fly into?

Answer

Either O'Hare or Midway are your best options. The hotel block and wedding are about the same distance from either.

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes, there is! We have a hotel block at the Congress Plaza Hotel from Thursday, September 07 through Monday, September 11 under Konopken-Sharps. The link is under travel or you can call 312-427-3800 x 5025.
