We're finally doin' it.

We met on an online dating app. Maria matched with Sean on the 2nd day of being on the app. Sean asked Maria to meet immediately and Maria said no (#strangerdanger). After talking for a week, Maria asked Sean "So when are you going to ask me for my number?" and the rest is history.

During the peak of the pandemic, it was our first time celebrating the holiday season separate from our families. Sean woke up Maria, excited to open presents. After opening all the presents under the tree, Sean said "Wait, there's one more present in the closet." to which Maria replied "You didn't wrap it?". Sean told Maria to close her eyes and when she opened them, Sean was down on one knee with an upside down ring box. Maria said "Yes" while laughing with tears in her eyes.
