Love, Laughter, and Happily Ever After!

My brother convinced me to join bumble and go on ONE date. I swiped right on Schuyler and opened with "I bet Starbucks NEVER gets your name right." He laughed (at least I imagined he did) and we met up that Saturday for brunch. I walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder. My first thought was "WOW, he is so hot!" My second thought was "ugh, I bet he's gonna be so dumb." That day, we had a great time at brunch, so much so that we decided to get coffee afterward. For the record, he CLEARLY proved me wrong. Brains and brawn! As time went on, I rediscovered my sense of adventure with him by my side through the rigors of surgical residency. He deployed, and I waited for him con mi corazón en la mano. We resumed our weekend excursions hiking and exploring West Virginia. May 31, 2021 - We went to the endless wall trekking through the New River Gorge. Schuyler took my breath away with his proposal in the Wild and Wonderful. I said yes to happily ever after!
