Question

Where is the Ceremony + Reception?

Answer

The Ceremony will begin at 5pm at The Cabildo located at 701 Chartres Street in New Orleans. The doors will open at 4:30pm for guests to arrive early and view the exhibits in the Museum. The reception will be at Marche located at 914 St. Peters Street immediately following the ceremony.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

The Cabildo is only three blocks from the 4 Points by Sheraton and the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel. Take in the sights and sounds of this beautiful city we call home or hop on a pedi-cab for a quick ride!

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional: the wedding party will be in formal wedding attire, and it’s optional for all guests. We recommend a dark suit or tux for the men and formal evening wear (floor length dresses or evening pant suits) for the women.

Question

Is there parking available near the ceremony and reception venues?

Answer

Yes, there is a pay-to-park public parking lot located at 768 Decatur St, New Orleans, LA 70116 on the Mississippi River. However, we recommend getting an Uber or Lyft when traveling to and from the wedding as parking in the French Quarter tends to be slightly higher than average.

Question

Have you reserved Hotel Room Blocks?

Answer

Absolutely! Check out our Travel & Accommodations page for all the information you will need.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off, and we look forward to celebrating with you! Kick your shoes off and enjoy a relaxing kid-free evening with us.

Question

What COVID-19 restrictions should you expect when attending events in New Orleans?

Answer

As of now, the current city mandate put in place by the Mayor states that all guests should wear a mask at all times when in New Orleans. The only exceptions allowing masks to be removed are while you are eating or drinking. Please be aware and adhere to this guideline as we are trying our best to ensure safety during all of our wedding related events.

Question

What are we doing to protect our guests from COVID-19 during our wedding related events?

Answer

We are so glad you asked! While we are so excited to see each and everyone of you, we do want to make sure we are protecting everyone as much as we possibly can. We will be taking temps at the door of each event. If anyone is experiencing a higher than normal temperate, unfortunately, you will not be allowed to enter the space. We will also be providing masks for anyone that might need one as well as some other items for you to carry with you during the wedding. We hope this will help any guests that feel weary of attending the wedding a little bit more comfortable during this strange time. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Question

Will we be live streaming our wedding for any guests unable to attend?

Answer

Absolutely! We know not everyone can travel and we know not everyone feels comfortable in a group setting quite yet. So, if you are hanging around a computer or phone around 5pm on Saturday, October 24th, please head to the Main Event page of our website. You will find the link to view our ceremony in real time. Please remember to set your phone to mute while you view the ceremony.
