Nick and Michael met in high school. They bonded over cars and Nick has been a rock for Michael since. He has been so kind to Maria ever since they began dating. Nick and Michael have become brothers in heart and spirit.

Kate and Maria shared several classes in college but became close friends in Maria's senior year. She is a huge support and one of the kindest people on the planet. Kate and Maria bonded over YouTube and TV obsessions but their friendship grew much deeper.

Michael and Scott met Michael's first semester when Scott was his professor. Scott became a wonderful mentor and friend to Michael and Maria both since. He was always so happy to support their relationship. Their wedding day would not be complete without him there still cheering them on in life.

Lilly and Maria met right before freshman year of high school when Maria gave Lilly a piece of trash found on the floor. Lilly has always been a rock for Maria and made sure she was on the right path. It spoke volumes when Lilly immediately accepted Michael.

Parker and Michael met through the maid of honor Arilyn. Their bromance grew from there, however, and quickly became good friends outside of Arilyn and Maria. They have been able to have jam sessions together exploring their combined love of music.
