Sleep Inn & Suites Monticello

For your convenience, we have a courtesy block of rooms at the Sleep Inn and Suites Monticello. Please use the website address provided to book rooms, the name of the reservation is Buser-Cook Wedding Block. You must book your room by 6 September 2023 in order to take advantage of this reservation. There are other hotels, inns, and bed and breakfasts in the Charlottesville area as well. We do not have reserved rooms there, so if you would like to stay somewhere else be sure to book early as Charlottesville is a college town and can be busy during the football season!

Flight

Charlottesville (CHO); Dulles International (IAD); Reagan National (DCA); Richmond (RIC)

Charlottesville does have its own airport (CHO), however it is a small regional airport and only flies to and from limited destinations. For more affordable and direct flights, you may want to check other airports. Dulles International (IAD) and Reagan National Airport (DCA) are both in the Washington Capital/northern Virginia area and within driving distance of Charlottesville. Richmond International Airport (RIC) is located outside of Richmond, VA and is an easy drive to Charlottesville. All three are an excellent option, especially if you plan to rent a vehicle.

Train

Charlottesville Amtrak (CVS)

Charlottesville does have an Amtrak station which is close to downtown Charlottesville and the University. There are trains from Union Station in Washington, DC. However, there is no direct train line from Richmond, VA to Charlottesville.
