We were looking for our significant other and we decided to explore online dating options. It wasn't fun at all, after a couple weeks Maria was about to give up, when she was going to delete her account she found Matt and then everything changed. He was just creating his profile and wasn't expecting too much, after all it was online dating. We started texting and before we met it seemed we already knew each other. The first day we decided to meet we lived 2 hours apart with only one of us having a car. 3 days later Matt drove all the way to Philadelphia, where Maria used to live and we had our first date. We were really nervous, it seemed too perfect to be true... and it was true, we met in a bar close to Maria's place to decide where to go from there. We ended up staying there for over 10 hour just talking, no food or beer needed, just talking and talking, about life, love, future and everything we are actually doing now. So yes! it was love at first sight and it does exist.

Maria's birthday was coming up and since we were going to be super busy that day, Matt decided to give her a really nice surprise the weekend before with a private hot air baloon over Lancaster. We were really excited about it even when it was at 6:30 in the morning! Everything was perfect and then Matt asked: are you happy? and she said YES!!!! and then he asked: could you be happier? and she said NO NO NO! and then he took the ring out of his pocket, nothing else was said. We were both really happy and she couldn't believe he was right, she could be happier, the happiest!
