In 1994, during a simple game of dominoes in Brooklyn, Julian introduced himself to Maria and unknowingly began a love story that would change both of their lives forever. At the time, Julian was a father to two daughters and Maria a mother to two sons and a daughter, each carrying their own journeys, responsibilities, and hopes for the future. What began as a conversation grew into a love rooted in sacrifice, perseverance, friendship, and unwavering commitment. Together, they built a life rooted in love, resilience, faith, and commitment creating a home (whether far or near) that carried them through every season with strength, grace, and unwavering devotion to family. For 32 years, they have walked side by side through life’s highs and lows, choosing one another again and again. Civilly married for 24 years, they have built a life rooted in love, family, perseverance, and faith. Now, surrounded by their pastor, family, friends, and community, they joyfully renew their vows before God, honoring the covenant that has carried them through it all.
