Mother of the Bride
Maria's Mom, and Gram to Sophia & Jordan. We are grateful for all the adventure she brings to our lives - including her love of family, hosting, kayaking, hiking, waterfalls and so much more.
Father of the Bride
Maria's Dad, and Sophia & Jordan's Pap. We are grateful for all his Pap'isms, guidance, political commentary, and his many unique drink creations (ex. duck farts).
Mother of the Groom
Jonathan's Mom, and Grandma to Sophia & Jordan. We are grateful for hosting us at the holidays and for sharing in our sense of adventure on recent trips to Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.
Father of the Groom
Jonathan's Dad, and Grandad to Sophia and Jordan. We are grateful for his listening ear and for his support of our family, along with showing us a great time last year on a cruise of the Caribbean!
Matron of Honor
Maria & Shayla met in first grade and are part of a very special group of friends from Spring Grove, PA. Shayla has contributed many smiles, laughs, memories to Maria's crew, and is someone that can always be counted on to be there. XOXO
Matron of Honor
Lizzy and Maria met when they were two years old and grew up next door to each other. Because each had older brothers, they became each other's sister. We are so grateful to have her by our side at the wedding and thrilled that she will be welcoming her first baby this year. Xoxoxo
Best Man
Our son, Jordan, will be our Best Man. He and his sister, Sophia, are the most important people to us and make our family whole. Jordan will be starting his sophomore year at Poly High School in Baltimore, and we are extremely proud of his hard work and the best man he is becoming.
Bridesmaid
Kelly is Jonathan's sister and has been a wonderful family member on our journey. We've had some pretty incredible family memories including the trip to Puerto Rico & recent family cruise. She is a great sister and will be a wonderful future sister-in-law. Xoxox
Flower Girl
Our daughter, Sophia, will be in 2nd grade and celebrating her 8th birthday a couple of weeks after our wedding. Sophia is an avid reader, loves hanging out with her friends, is working on frog kick in the swimming pool, and has recently become quite good at chess. We're so proud of her kind heart and worth ethic.
Flower Girl
Our niece, Elle, is a marvel. We are super excited to have her, and Sophia precede Maria down the aisle. Elle likes to ice skate, play soccer, and go to Orioles games.
Bridesmaid
Maria's sister through her marriage to Andy! Nicole is mom to nephews Will, Drew, and niece, Elle. We are grateful Andy had the good sense to marry her and grateful she is part of our special day! Her girls' trips are legendary. Take care not to challenge Nicole to late night game of chess.
Groomsman
Maria's eldest (and likes to think wisest) brother. Andy is father to ushers: Will and Drew; flower girl: Elle; & husband to Nicole. He likes to mountain bike and invest in whiskey distilleries.
Usher
Will is our 15 year old nephew, son to Andy and Nicole. He is a fantastic actor so don't be surprised if he starts reciting Shakespeare or breaks out a showtune. Will is also a good person to ask if you want an opinion on anything Nintendo.
Usher
Drew is our 13 year old nephew, son to Andy and Nicole. He is great at sports like soccer, mountain biking, and basketball. Drew loves to be outside and takes after Aunt Maria in his love of dogs. Keep an eye out as he and Will help you find your seats at the wedding.
Bridesmaid
Karen is our beautiful sister-in-law, married to JT. She's mom to our two youngest nephews, Camden and Calvin. Karen has a great sense of humor and we're lucky to have her in our family, and grateful JT had the good sense to marry her.
Groomsman
Maria's older and wiser brother. JT is married to Karen and he's father to our "ring security detail": Camden and Calvin. He's an avid sports fan with allegiances to the Orioles, Eagles, and anything Penn State. JT provides a balanced and thoughtful perspective to any conversation.
Ring Bearer
Our nephew, Camden, is always up for a new adventure. He has the best imagination and loves to play and watch sports/games. At family events, you can usually find him next to his cousin, Will, asking for tips on the most recent Mario game.
Ring Bearer
Calvin is all personality! His charisma and presence are much bigger than his status as youngest in the family. We are excited for Calvin and his brother, Camden, to protect our rings and ensure a smooth and "theft-free" ceremony.
Bridesmaid
Abby is part of the very special Spring Grove crew and has known Maria practically their whole lives. She is someone whom you can always count on, and we are grateful she will by our side to celebrate out special day. XOXOXO
Bridesmaid
Natalie & Maria met in 5th grade, and she is part of the very special Spring Grove group of friends. While their lives have gone different directions, they remain close, and we are very fortunate to have Natalie at our side for our wedding.
Bridesmaid
Jordyn and Maria met in business classes at James Madison University (JMU) and became roommates years later in Baltimore at the now infamous 730 condo. They lived together for many years and for those that know Maria, that is NOT an easy feat. They love dancing together, so look for them on the dance floor. For those of you that know... she also introduced Maria (who introduced Jonathan) to Bike Party! We are grateful for the friendship with her and her husband, Tim and celebrating with her by our side.
Bridesmaid
Julia, also a JMU grad, was Maria's lucky roommate # 1 in Locust Point, Baltimore just a few blocks away from the BMI. They had an amazing year living together (note it was only a year) and exploring Baltimore, including Wednesday night dinners with Jordyn & Katheryn. They were instant lifelong friends. We are so grateful that she is celebrating by our side at the wedding!
Bridesmaid
Emily Ziegler & her husband, Mike, were some of Maria's earliest friends at JMU. Their friendship went to a whole new level when Emily moved to Baltimore. She is Maria's favorite friend to craft with and enjoy a large glass of wine. We are very grateful Emily is celebrating with us this year!
Groomsman
Dave met Jonathan in undergrad at St. Mary's College of Maryland when Jonathan helped freshman Dave (and friend Uche) back to their rooms after a late night at DPC. Dave has been an incredible friend ever since and we are so grateful for Dave and his wife Christina (also a St. Mary's grad) and their kids, Dave-George and Davina. Diehard bike party attendees, Dave and Christina are some of our best friends and we are blessed to have them join us at our wedding.
Groomsman
Greg met Jonathan and became good friends playing in an adult soccer league together with Greg's sister Shana and husband, Jim. We love Greg's family (including wife, Jillian and 3 sons: Ben, Nolan, and Jason) who often come back to the city to stay with us for the weekend. We are super excited to have Greg and Jillian at our wedding!
Groomsman
Jonathan has known Khaled since they met shortly after college working at Enterprise Rent-a-car at BWI. They've seen a lot of ups and downs together over the past 20 years and although there have been some gaps in time, they've remained close friends. Khaled and his wife Denise will be welcoming their first child this year and we are so excited to have them come help us celebrate our wedding.
Groomsman
Chris is Dave's brother-in-law and has been a great friend over the past 5 years. From Bike Party to Dog Pub to mountain biking, Chris is almost always up for a challenge. He and his wife, Sumedha live a short distance away from us in Baltimore and we love spending time with them between their trips to and from India. We're so grateful for all the good memories and really excited to have them help us celebrate in October.
Our Special Dog
She won't be with us the day of the wedding (she'll be back at the house). Ginny is a unique dog.
