Church marriage ceremony

Description: Orthodox Rituals: Unlike Catholic or Protestant weddings, the Bulgarian Orthodox ceremony includes crowning, ring exchanges, and a common cup ritual. No Vows: The couple does not exchange spoken vows or say "I do"; the priest’s blessings seal the union. It is a tradition to do both church marriage and legal marriage ceremony in one day. Both ceremonies are separate one from another and attending church ceremony from the guests is optional.
