We first crossed paths at OTF Wayne. Maria was a member and I was working the front desk as a sales associate while getting my coaching certificate. Maria and I would see each other every couple of days when she would come to take class and I would have to check her into the studio I was HORRIBLE at remembering peoples names so infamously one day while checking her into class. I asked what her name was and she responded verbatim “I already told you that yesterday” I responded with I still don’t know your name! After her rolling her eyes at me and saying “Maria” I never forgot her name again Fast forward a couple weeks she posted on her instagram she wanted to become a better runner. Me thinking I could help I slid into her DMs and we set up a time to go for a run We planned to go for a 3ish mile run. However, we ended walking about every single step of it. Once we started talking about life we couldn’t stop talking! Of those 3 miles we probably ran about 1 It was the best thing to ever happen. We instantly clicked and I didn’t want the conversation to stop Once we finished our “run” and got back to my car I asked her to go on a date after meeting up just one time. She thankfully said yes! The rest is history
