Maddie and I met while I was still in high school when we randomly sat next to each other in English class. The universe clearly knew what it was doing! We bonded over our mutual ambition to become nurses, our love of sarcastic commentary, and surviving Ms. Booher’s chemistry class together. I’m so lucky to still be able to call her a friend today, and I am honored she will be standing next to me on the big day!

Natalie isn’t just one of my bridesmaids, she’s also my sister-in-law! I’ve known Natalie since I was 13 years old, and from the start, she’s been incredibly sweet, and kind. I was so happy to stand by her side when she married my brother, and now I’m just as excited to have her by mine!
Felipe

Felipe has been by my side since the day I came into this world. Growing up people thought we were twins, that’s how close we are or maybe cause my mom forced us to wear matching outfits! And whether it was, playing soccer, or arguing over a game of 2K (the original, that’s right), we’ve always remained close. Not a single day of my life has gone by without us speaking. He’s my best friend. I love him with all my heart, and I’m honored to have him standing by me as my best man.

I met Jayson at the Florida Mall Best Buy, impressed by how kind he was to customers… and equally surprised by how hard the man could party! I knew right then we’d be friends for life. Our bond grew strong, I offered him a job in Sarasota, and he took a leap of faith and tagged along. Since then, we’ve been inseparable. Jayson’s been there through some of the lowest moments of my life, even when I was paralyzed. He was right there in the hospital, helping me recover, literally changing my diapers and cheering me on. I’m beyond grateful for this guy and wouldn’t be here without him!

Felix is that friend you can call on a random Tuesday, and you’re still on the phone hours later, just cracking up! I’ll never forget teenager Felix training me at a Geek Squad kiosk (yes we’re nerds) and remember thinking, “How is this kid so damn smart?” Since then, we’ve made legendary memories, starting with our wild early days in Tampa, aka the promised land. Felix is the guy who brings the good vibes, and throws parties so good they should be illegal. I’m so proud of the man he’s become. Having him in this wedding means the dance floor is in very good hands, that’s for certain!

It was 6th grade geography class, we barely spoke the native tongue of English, and there was Bruno, bravely presenting on U.S. geography while none of us understood a word he said. Legend, I knew this cat was special! Ever since that day, he sat next to me, we’ve been best friends ever since. From middle school to adulting, we’ve never lost touch. 27 years of friendship, and still going strong. I was honored to be in his bridal party, and now I’m proud to have him in mine!

I remember it like it was yesterday, this guy sat behind me in class in good ole’ Dr. Phillips High School, and I told him he looked just like Orlando Bloom (he does). From that moment on, we clicked. We bonded over our love for basketball and ended up skipping out of school just to hit the courts, basically every day. And honestly, we’ve been doing that ever since. Whether Josue was in Miami or California or the army, we’ve always stayed in touch and shared adventures along the way. He’s one of the kindest, most genuine friends I could ever ask for!
