George and Maria met the modern way through Facebook in September 2013; they shared a mutual friend. Their first date was at Steam Pub in Southampton, PA. Ironically, when George had first arrived to meet Maria for the first time, there was a woman there that had the same shirt that Maria told him she was wearing. George immediately thought he was being catfished lol. However, Maria showed up fashionably late as per the usual. They felt an instant connection and could not take their eyes off one another. Even though they danced the night away in a crowded room, they felt alone; as if it was just the two of them. After having many Skype dates, as there were 314 miles separating them, they finally got around to a second date. They attended a 76ers game and, of course, went out dancing afterwards. It didn't take long for George to know that he wanted to make things official as he had asked Maria to be his girlfriend in November of 2013. The rest was history. Their proposal was a bit unique, as George surprised Maria at her birthday dinner in January of 2014 with the effort and help from their family. Their engagement lasted only two days as they quietly got married in Doylestown. Some say they moved quickly but one cannot deny what the heart knows! Some of their favorite memories from their time together include attending concerts, sporting events and games, traveling, many trips to the beach, late night trips to Parx Casino, dancing, building a home and life together as well as a beautiful family. One decade and two daughters later, George and Maria would love for you to join them as they say "I do" again January 13th, 2024.
