Every great love story has its beginnings, and ours? It all started in February of 2017 in the most magical place imaginable: Sean Ruschel’s basement. Yes, amidst the smell of pizza and the sound of intense foosball matches, we met and unknowingly set the stage for the rest of our lives. Thanks, Sean—you’re getting an extra big slice of cake at the wedding. Fast forward to Penn State, where our connection really deepened. We hung out here and there at apartment parties during the beginning of college, but then didn’t talk at all while school was fully remote during COVID. When things returned to normal, we ran in to each other at a party that Ethan was DJing, and the rest is history. We’ve built our relationship on laughter and shared passions. From spa nights where we embrace face masks that make us look like swamp creatures, to Arizona hiking adventures where we question our life choices halfway up the trail, to Mexican date nights where chips and salsa are our love language—we do it all with a smile. Whether we’re baking cookies, swinging a golf club (and missing), or just binge-watching a new show, we’ve found joy in the little moments together. And that’s what makes our story so special—it’s full of love, laughter, and a little chaos, just the way we like it.
