Who would have known that a late night craving for pancakes at Ihop and a mutual friend's birthday dinner would have been the start to our love story. It didn't take much convincing to go to a music festival with some friends, shortly after when I found out I would get to ride shotgun with him. The love was instantly there, because from that day forward we were inseparable. We were so opposite in so many ways but it worked. He was the calm to my crazy and I was the crazy to his calm. No me costó mucho convencerme de ir a un festival de música con algunos amigos, poco después cuando descubrí que podría viajar en el asiento delantero con él. It started with a surprise trip to Seattle, somewhere I've always wanted to go (shout out to Grey's Anatomy). We were celebrating our 8 year anniversary so an engagement at this point I didn't think was coming. We conquered our hike on Mt. Rainier and the views were breathtaking. I couldn't believe I was doing this with the love of my life. Next on the list was a private room dinner overlooking a waterfall as the sun sets. There were rose petals all over the table and still an engagement does not cross my mind. We had a great dinner and amazing drinks. Dessert hits the table and the waiter smoothly slides the ring over to him as I'm distracted. Before I can have a bite he grabs my hand, and as he's saying all the reasons he loves me he walks around the table and gets on one knee and says "Will you marry me?". Todo comenzó con un viaje sorpresa a Seattle, un lugar al que siempre quise ir (por mi novela Grey's Anatomy!!!). Estábamos celebrando nuestro aniversario de 8 años. Conquistamos nuestra caminata en la Montaña Rainier y las vistas eran demasiado impresionantes. No pude creer que estaba haciendo esto con el amor de mi vida. Lo siguiente en la lista fue una cena en una habitación privada con vista a una cascada mientras se bajaba el sol. Había pétalos de rosa por toda la mesa y todavía no se me pasa por la cabeza un compromiso. Tuvimos una gran cena y bebidas increíbles. El postre llega a la mesa y mientras estoy distraída, el mesero le pasa el anillo a Eduardo cuidadosamente. Antes de que pueda dar una mordida al postre, agarra mi mano y me empieza a dar todas las razones por las que me ama, camina alrededor de la mesa, se arrodilla y dice: "¿Quieres casarte conmigo?".
