Hi DeWayne here the how we met story is pretty easy. Ive always thought Maria was gorgeous and always wanted a date with her. After 3 rejections..... I finally got my chance and it was a magic from then. We had dinner and a movie planned on a Monday night when I went to pick her up she got inside my car and said "please don't kidnap me". A great way to break the ice since we had never met in person only through messages on Snap chat. Each conversation had a flow to it throughout the night and we just kept enjoying each others company. We went to dinner and both ordered the same Chicken Alfredo pasta which definitely caught my eye. We followed that up with a movie and I couldn't speak to her cause we were at a movie but i kept staring without her noticing. The movie ended and we walked to my car talking about the movie along with how great the night went. On the drive home I nervously asked her if she wanted to go out again this week and she said yes! We kissed our first night and I couldn't stop thinking of her. By the end of the month i asked her to be my girlfriend and it was cloud nine going forward.

I Wanted to propose only after only 6 months of dating Maria I had fallen head over heels in love with her. So I started saving up for my ring and was super excited to propose. Then the day came in May 2019 I was so excited I went to a website and started shopping looking for the most gorgeous ring I could find. Mind you I'm a guy so jewelry shopping online I am not the person to see. Anyways I started picking options to add to this ring I thought it was like subway and i was picking my toppings to put on this Sandwich (even though I don't eat bread) . I continue making this ring and little did I know I was making a RING!!!! After paying I clicked order and then a message comes up saying my ring will be ready in 90 days!!!!!! Before this all I planned a special a dinner in 3 weeks specifically for that so now that dinner was a waste since i wouldn't have my ring for 3 months. Regardless we had a great night fast forward 3 months and I get a call my ring is ready (finally) they said they can have it to me in a week I said no no no I need that ring by Monday it was Saturday. They said no problem they had a overnight shipping they could get it to me by Monday. I needed it by Monday cause I'm off Mondays at worst Tuesday cause i beat Maria home from work. So Monday comes nothing and then Tuesday comes nothing finally Wednesday comes as I'm freaking out at work I get an email saying my ring has been delivered...... followed with a text from Maria saying a package came for me and she put it on my bed. I FLIPPED OUT rushed home 3 hrs later and got my ring luckily maria didn't notice the box. Finishing up i had a bunch of ideas to pop the question but that week maria had the worst day at work even crying and knew that would turn her whole day around so i asked her right in the living room of our condo keeping that moment for just us. I tell you seeing her smile and her tears disappear made all the ring chaos worth it and I wouldn't change anything.
