Loggerhead Park is a 17-acre recreational area in Juno Beach, Florida with a beach. It includes the Loggerhead Marinelife Center, an ocean conservation organization and sea turtle hospital.
Built as one of ten houses of refuge, this is the only one left AND it’s the oldest building in Martin County. It was a haven for shipwrecked travelers, and now serves as a museum showcasing historical lifesaving equipment and the Keeper’s living quarters as they were in 1904.
Great place for short hikes/walks through untarnished South Florida, "climb" to the top of Hobe Mountain - the highest natural point in South Florida, or take the river boat up to Trapper Nelsons Camp.
