Baseball season started at Franjo Park when our lives first crossed paths. Without a thought in mind that we would end up together. Fast forward some years and we were reunited at EBS Church. We were young and extremely hard-headed, constantly denying what was clear to our parents. Our first date lead to our frenemy stage, and for the next couple years it was a battle between "I really like you" and "You got a big ego". Until we had a wakeup call, put our differences aside and realized that we were meant to be.
I took her back to a place familiar to us both, Key Biscayne. Started the day off early at 5am, dressed in workout clothes, little did she know that under my nike socks was a ring meant for her and no other. We ran about 4 miles in the cold when we started jogging back to the car to have breakfast, I told her my knee was hurting but to go on ahead of me, I pulled out the ring from under the sock, caught up with her and pulled her aside amongst the Miami skyline and the beautiful pink and blue skies from the sunrise, got down on one knee and asked my future wife if she loved me, and if she wanted to spend the rest of her life with me. To no surprise she yelled YES!
