We’re getting married !

How we met is a frequently asked question considering we lived 2hrs away from each other. We’ve seen each other in passing at the Jehovahs Witness Convention, Years ago when Little Rock , Arkansas and Memphis, Tn were together. Well, conversation never started there. I would host these parties during the summer and fall and would send out a mass number of invites , through instagram , and people I hung out with as well. So I saw we had a mutual friends , and I decided to send him an invite to this summer bash I planned summer 2015. He didnt respond , So I sent him another invite to the fall party and he responded ! We started talking on a regular , and became bestfriends. We first met at the memohis zoo LOL! But it was a day I will always remember because from that day on i could picture myself with him. Then came the questions from family and friends of , “Why arent yall dating “, or , “Yall dating , yall just aren’t telling anybody”. I had always liked him but never expressed that to him because I was afraid of the feelings not being mutual. So some years went by and I had noticed he had been by my side for everything hardship and accomplishment I had been through. Year of 2019 changed everything. All my friends and both of our families were supporting us every step. I text my bestfriend this long message that I said I was just going to guts up and send to him but then i started doubting again, not knowing she had already been talking to him and his feelings were the same. So I sent the message to him expressing myself , and telling him how I had been feeling . I got a reply back from him saying ,” we will talk about it “ , instantly i’m in panic thinking what in the world did I just do . We had the “big talk” , and as of July 1,2019 we started dating. A year and a month later we were engaged and now planning a wedding !!
