A spontaneous weekend getaway to Cape May, NJ filled with brewery stops, mini golf and bike rides was nothing out of the ordinary. Saturday (the day of the proposal) was a gloomy/overcast evening, we had dinner reservations at a "fancy " restaurant and Brett suggested walking to the restaurant . I said no thanks "you can walk, i'll Uber." After awhile Brett had finally convinced me to just walk to the beach prior to get a picture to capture our weekend, (still clueless and fighting the walk to the beach). I gave in and as we walked up the beach there were wooden signs (i missed the first two) along the way and it wasn't until I noticed Mikko (my pup) waiting at the end with a sign that read: Mom, Please Say Yes and Brett down on one knee. I turned and saw my MOH snapping photos and it all set it in, YES! Can't forget my brother, Jake, hiding in the dunes awaiting for the right time to pop out and celebrate
