Question

Will we be providing transportation to the ceremony?

Answer

No. There is an accessible parking lot using the R street entrance of the Arboretum easily found by mapping to the R Street Parking Lot (2400 R St NE, Washington, DC 20002). If taking a taxi or rideshare, please request to be dropped off at the same spot. Note that this is NOT the address that comes up when you search National Arboretum on a GPS, so please manually input the R Street Parking Lot address. Once arrived, follow signs for the Administrative Building.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

4:30pm. The ceremony is a short walk from the parking lot where you'll park or be dropped off by taxi or rideshare. Please allow time to park, find the ceremony, and get settled in your seat prior to the ceremony beginning at 5pm sharp.

How do I find the ceremony space once I've arrived?

Answer

Once parked in the R Street parking lot, follow signs to the Administrative Building. You will walk straight through the Administrative Building and towards the Herb Garden on the opposite side. Arboretum faculty will also be in the Administrative Building to help if you have any questions.

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, and the reception will be under a tent.
