FAQs

Question

Staying at the castle

Answer

Bellingham Castle has 28 rooms exclusively available for wedding guests. The Castle will primarily host the bride and groom, their bridal party, and close family on the big day. Some additional rooms will be available for other guests and these rooms will be allocated directly by the Bride and Groom. It's not possible to book your night at the Castle directly, only through the Bride and Groom.

Question

What should I wear to the rehearsal dinner on Saturday?

Answer

The theme for the evening is Black & White Elegance. We’d love for everyone to keep it classic and chic — ladies in elegant black dresses, and men in dark, sharp attire (think black or charcoal tones).

Question

How formal is the attire on the wedding day?

Answer

Embrace the timeless elegance of the castle with formal attire. Floor-length gowns for the ladies and tuxedos or formal suits for the gentlemen will fit the setting perfectly.

Question

Are there any outfit “don’ts”?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white. Otherwise, feel free to dress to impress and enjoy the castle glamour!

Question

I’m travelling alone — is there anyone I can share accommodation with?

Answer

Absolutely! If you’re coming solo and would like to share accommodation with another guest, just get in touch with either the bride or groom. We’ll happily help match you with someone else who’s also travelling alone.

Question

Is there a wedding registry?

Answer

No. We truly appreciate the effort, time, and travel it takes to join us for our wedding. Your presence at our wedding is most important to us.
