Women are encouraged to wear a traditional Indian saree or lehenga. Bright colored modest western wear is acceptable as well (no black or white please). Men are encouraged to wear a traditional outfit like a sherwani, kurta pajama, or a suit & tie.
July is monsoon season in Mumbai, but don't let that stop you! As long as you're in a good hotel (see our recommendations on the "Travel" tab) and avoid fresh produce - you'll be fine. Expect high's to be in the mid-80's and low's to be in the upper 70's. Pack waterproof shoes / sandals, an umbrella, and breathable, lightweight clothing.
No gifts please. Your presence is enough!
Mosquito's are not a huge problem in July, but we recommend having bug spray on hand just in case.
Avoid fresh produce (boiled or cooked vegetables only). Peel fruits before eating them or choose fruits that can be peeled, such as bananas and oranges.
No. Bottled water only.
