What is suitable attire for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire: we suggest men wear a suit, and women wear a cocktail dress or a nice pantsuit.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

All guests are asked to be seated for the wedding ceremony by 3:30 p.m.; the ceremony will be begin promptly at 4:00 p.m. For guests coming from Pensacola Beach to the church, we recommend allowing at least 45 minutes to account for drive time (in case of traffic) and parking downtown.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Wedding ceremony: Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel is in the heart of downtown Pensacola. Although there is paid parking downtown in front of and around the Basilica, we suggest allotting a few extra minutes to park and walk a few blocks if needed. Reception: There is a parking lot located across the street from The Sanctuary with ample parking for our guests. Signs at/around The Sanctuary will direct you to the parking lot.

Is there transportation from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

There won’t be organized transportation, but the reception venue is just a 5 minute drive from the church. Uber and Lyft are also available if you’d rather catch a ride.
