Travel Note

Flights/Hotels

We recommend booking you flights and hotels ahead of time due to July being high season in Greece. Prices for both flights and hotels rise drastically in the spring time, so you're better off booking everything in the Fall/Winter time. (Guests flying out of NYC, we highly recommend checking Norse airways out of JFK, for cheapest tickets)

Flight

Airport: Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos

This is Athens main airport for international travel. The airport is located roughly 30 minutes from the venue. Your best mode of transportation is taxi which is located right outside the airport. Car rentals are also available, but we recommend to book ahead of time.

House Or Rental

Vincci Ever Eden Beach Resort

This hotel is the closest to the venue, a short 3 minute drive and a 28 minute drive from the airport.

House Or Rental

Plaza Resort Hotel

This hotel is the second closest to the venue, 12 minute drive, and a 32 minute drive from the airport.

House Or Rental

Grecotel Cape Sounio

This hotel is one of the most beautiful ones in the area, having a stunning view of the Temple of Poseidon. It is 25 minutes from the venue and 46 minutes from the airport.

House Or Rental

Airbnb

For larger groups of our guests we recommend getting an airbnb since this would be the most affordable and could possibly be closer than the hotels listed above. If you are planning on extending your stay in the thens area, booking a hotel or airbnb in downtown Athens could also be a good idea since its only a 55 minute drive from the venue.

Travel Note

Things to do in the area

Greece is known for having some of the best architecture in the world. If you're planning on making the most out of your trip Athens is just a short car ride away. In Athens you will find the temple of Athena (Parthenonas/ Acropoli) as well as the area of Plaka where you will find many local shops and tons of delicious food. If you're planning on visiting the islands there are two ways you can get there: by plane or by ferry. The planes leave from Athens International Airport and the ferry's from the port of Pireaus. There are many islands to choose from, but if you're short on time 1-day cruises are available where you can visit 3 islands in one day (highly recommend).
