Guests may arrive at the Paine at 4:30 pm. We thank you for your punctuality, as the ceremony will start promptly at 5:00 pm.
We recommend parking in the free, overnight lot at 1313 Elmwood Avenue. There will be signs directing you to the wedding from here. Street parking is also available on Algoma Boulevard and Congress Avenue. Anyone needing to be dropped off closer to the venue can use the parking lot on Algoma Boulevard located directly next to the Paine mansion. Please reserve these spots for guests who need additional assistance.
In the hopes that you can let your hair down with us, we respectfully request that only children of immediate family or our wedding party attend. Thank you for your understanding. *Invited children will be listed when you RSVP
We wish we could accommodate all our friends and family, but due to space limitations we cannot. Please restrict the attendees in your party to those listed on your invitation.
Semi-formal or cocktail attire is requested. Suits or button down shirts and slacks for gentlemen, sun dresses or jumpsuits for the ladies. Please remember that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, so it may be warm! The dinner and reception will be held inside the Conservatory, which will have air conditioning.
There will be a shuttle from the Best Western Waterfront Hotel to the Paint Art and Garden Center that will run from 3:30 - 5:00. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:00, so if you plan on catching the shuttle, please plan accordingly. There is also a free, overnight parking lot at 1313 Elmwood Avenue for those who wish to drive directly to the venue. The Best Western shuttle will also be available to take guests from the Paine to the hotel at the end of the night from 9:45pm to 11:45pm. Please note that the shuttle can hold about 10 people at a time. It is not guaranteed that there will be enough room/time for the shuttle to transport everyone.
Yes, however we ask that no photos be taken during the ceremony and that priority is always given to our photographer and videographer!
Yes! If you need assistance please let us know ahead of time so we can arrange for someone to greet you upon arrival and assist you to the ceremony area.
