Morristown
Check out the town where Maria grew up! You can visit sites such as George Washington’s Headquarters, the Frelinghuysen Arboretum, and The Green. Right off The Green is The Famished Frog, a favorite restaurant of Maria’s family in her childhood.
Denville
Check out downtown Denville, which is Noah and Maria’s favorite local haunt. We highly recommend Thatcher McGee’s for a hearty Irish vibe, which is across the street from our beloved local brewery, Diamond Spring. If coffee and smoothie bowls are more your speed, don’t miss Sweet Vinyl and Playa Bowls! There are plenty of shops, boutiques, and other tasty treats (ice cream, bubble tea, candy galore) that will keep you entertained all afternoon and evening!
Boonton
Boonton is another quaint little town nearby full of cafes and shops, but what makes it really worth the trip is the spooky and delicious Catfight Coffee shop!
Parsippany-Troy Hills
Maria and Noah’s current hometown may not look thrilling at first glance, but we have plenty of parks, small museums, and best of all—the ultimate local hotspot, Recess. Right on Rt 46, it’s an upbeat gamer bar with board games, video games (and couches!), and pool tables. The Nintendo themed cocktails should not be missed!
