Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a parking lot located behind Old Saint Mary Parish with limited parking. There is also complimentary parking provided at the structure located on the corner of State St. and Water St. that is connected by a sky bridge to the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. If you park there, please let the attendant know you are with the Barnes-Wanner wedding reception. The parking structure is located 2 blocks from the church. Additionally, parking is available at either the Saint Kate Arts Hotel or The Plaza Hotel, for guests staying at those locations. The Plaza Hotel is located 0.4 miles from Old Saint Mary Parish and the Saint Kate Arts Hotel is located 0.1 mile from the church.

Is there a shuttle?

Answer

A marked shuttle bus will be transporting guests from The Plaza Hotel to Old St. Mary Parish for the ceremony. It will make trips from 11:15am to 11:40am. Please wait outside of the front door of The Plaza to be picked up.

How can I get around the city?

Answer

Great question! There are a few ways which we find to be very convenient: 1) Ride The Hop! Milwaukee got a new street car in November 2018 and it is free to ride until November 2019- we're in luck! See the link for schedule details and hop on to explore downtown. https://thehopmke.com/ 2) Uber or Lyft (both are apps that are available for free download on your phone and are more cost effective than traditional taxis) 3) Walk, if the weather permits, or drive your car (parking around town can be limited and parallel parking skills will come in handy!)
