How do I RSVP?

Answer

Since we sent "save the date" cards instead of invitations, we are asking that you please RSVP online. There is a tab at the top of this page and also a link on the main page. We ask that you RSVP for BOTH the ceremony and dinner no later than June 28, 2024. Thank you

What is the itinerary for the ceremony and after?

Answer

Set up will began at 5pm. Guests are encouraged to start arriving at 5:30pm. The brief ceremony will begin promptly at 6pm. We will be meeting at the Bayfront for a buffet style dinner and wedding cake from 6:30pm until 9:30pm.

What is the attire?

Answer

Our wedding will be outdoors. We want you to be comfortable at our wedding. Our only ask is no athletic wear please. If you are so inspired, our favorite colors are blue and purple.

What about parking at the ceremony?

Answer

There is street parking around the venue. Guests are encouraged to arrive a little early to find parking as the park itself will still be open to the public.

Will there be food and/or beverage at the ceremony?

Answer

No, the ceremony will be short and sweet. There will be a buffet style dinner at the Bayfront Dining Hall starting at 6:30pm.

What if it's raining or too dang hot?

Answer

In the event of inclement weather (including high temperatures), the ceremony will be held at FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH OF RED WING. The church is across the street from the park.

Will there be a reception?

Answer

For those who are interested, there will be a buffet style dinner and wedding cake after the ceremony at Bayside Dinning Hall located at 1434 Old West Main Street Red Wing, MN 55066. There will also be a cash bar. We are planning a larger gathering/celebration in September 2024. More details to come!

What will be on the menu at dinner?

Answer

Dinner will be buffet style and include Slow Baked Country Ham, Traditional Creamy Mac + Cheese, Country Green Beans (Bacon + Onions), Romaine/Spring Mix Blend, and a White Dinner Roll. There will be wedding cake from Farmington Bakery after dinner. There will be a cash bar that will include several beer options ($5-$7), mini wine bottles ($6), and rail liquor. Please drink responsibly.

We're looking forward to celebrating with you on our big day. Having you attend our wedding is the greatest gift of all, however, if you're looking for wedding gift ideas, click on "Registry" at the top of this page to be taken to our registry, Free shipping is offered when ordering gifts through the link provided. We ask that you please do not bring gifts to the ceremony.

What about accommodations?

For those who will be travelling from out of town and plan on staying overnight, we recommend the Country Inn Suites, Holiday Inn Express, or the Nichols Inn. Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We ask that this be an "unplugged" event so that guests are not distracted by their devices. Please be sure to either turn your phone off or place them on silent before the ceremony. There will be time after the ceremony for photos. Thank you.
