Some of our favorite things to do in the area include hiking the beautiful trails in Shenandoah National Park, dining at the quaint restaurants and browsing the shops in downtown Culpeper, and kayaking on Lake Pelham.
Other fun activities for out-of-towners in the nearby area include traveling up to see the monuments and sites of D.C. (the National Mall is a must see at Christmas time), viewing Presidential Homes (Mont Vernon, Montpelier, Monticello), and exploring the restaurants and shops in Old Town Alexandria and Georgetown.
