I went on a blind date with Kevin. We started our date at Peet's coffee. It was an instant connection from the moment we saw each other. Our plan was to go on a walk through Almaden Lake Park. Which we did. But shortly after, we found ourselves mostly sitting and chatting on a park bench where we then completely lost track of time. At the end of our conversation, I realized this guy had exceeded my expectations by leaps and bounds. Kevin suggested he would like to go on a second date. And I'm pretty sure I didn't stop smiling for a full week. Two years later, Kevin asked if I'd like to go for a walk around Almaden Lake Park in the morning. He brought us Peet's coffee and breakfast in little cooler. As we walked hand in hand, I treasured each moment on our walk. After finding a bench for us to sit and chat, Kevin got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. After answering yes, I'm pretty sure I didn't stop smiling for more than a week.
