The wedding will be summer formal - think long dresses for girls, suits and ties for guys. Girls - keep in mind that the ceremony will be outdoors on grass, so wedges, flats or thick block heels will be best. The Friday night welcome party is more casual. We will be dressed in summer cocktail attire (think linen suit but no tie, mid-length dress) but you can come as you are - we'll just be excited to see your beautiful faces!
Basically, these two dress codes just acknowledge the fact that it's late summer, and it may be hot out, so dress in light fabrics if you can. Also, that it feels appropriate to dress in bright colors in the summertime, so have fun with it!
We love your kids, but unfortunately Miraval has a strict 18 and over policy, both for hotel and wedding guests.
Driving is going to be a good bet if you are in the general tristate area and have access to a car, but we've also outlined some other options in the Travel tab below the hotel info.
We wish we could include everyone! Unfortunately, unless noted on your invitation, we cannot accommodate any additional guests.
Yes! For guests not staying on property, there is ample parking close to the entrance of Wyndhurst Mansion for all of the weekend's events.
While there are Ubers in the Berkshires, they're few and far between, so I would arrange a scheduled pickup ahead of time. Additionally, there are a few local taxi companies that I'd recommend calling ahead to plan a ride, should your party not have a designated driver: - HappyCAR Berkshires (kind of a wacky website) - Lenox Taxi Again, I URGE you to book ahead with any of these options, to ensure timely transport.
